IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RAYS AND WAVES

  1. Gamma rays are considered the death rays.

  2. Gamma rays travel with the velocity of light

  3. Gamma rays have maximum penetrating power

  4. Shortest wavelength among alpha, beta and gamma is of gamma rays

  5. Laser rays are used in micro surgery

  6. Alpha radiations produce burns on human body

  7. Newton proved that sunlight consists of different colors

  8. Beta rays are fast moving electrons.
